There are 324 known planets of various classifications, depending on the atmosphere, size, and geological composition. Main article: Planet The planets of Stanton.Ī planet is an object that orbits one or more stars, is massive enough to be rounded by its own gravity, and has cleared most of its orbit of other astronomical objects. Main Sequence Dwarf-A, White Dwarf Degenerate-A Main Sequence Dwarf-K, Main Sequence Dwarf-K ![]() Main Sequence Dwarf-G, Main Sequence Dwarf-K Many systems are connected to one another by jump points of varying sizes, allowing for interstellar travel between systems in ships equipped with a jump drive. There are also two other categories of system affiliation - developing and unclaimed. There are 4 main factions that claim ownership over these systems: the United Empire of Earth, the Vanduul, the Xi'an Empire, and the Banu Protectorate. Visitor information Services Trading Caution is advised while visiting this location. Jumptown is an outpost on Yela 's northern hemisphere, built inside of a crater nestled against a mountain. If the numbers on the starmap are correct the Aaron halo is not even that big compared to asteroid belts in other systems.Main article: System A galactic map of known systemsĪ system (short for planetary system) consists of one or more non-stellar objects that orbit one or more gravitational governors (such as stars or black holes). Jumptown - Star Citizen Wiki Jumptown For the dynamic event, see Jumptown (event). I mean, a player could potentially set out a "base" in there and people wouldn't be able to find him not even in yearsīy looking at the starmap it should be at approximately 1,6AU (240m km) from the star, between ArcCorp and Crusader, so if we use the 1/6 in game scale it would have a radius of 40 million km in game, for a circumference of approximately 250 million km, so basically even if you put 1 million people in the Aaron belt at the same distance from one another, each person would still be 250km from one another, I won't even try to calculate the total number of asteroids but they're billions for sure Yeah, once I feared that exploration would suffer a bit due to the fact that locations in SC are implemented quite slowly and we already know most of them instead of being a huge universe with billions of unknown stars like in other games, but thinking about how huge even just 1 single asteroid belt in 1 system is I think that explorers will have plenty of stuff to do. It's still missing most of the infrastructure that will make it an interesting place to visit in the future, but it's still neat to check out, as most people are probably unaware that it exists.įor those curious, Global Environmental Lead Eddie Hilditch has stated that the missing pieces of the Aaron Halo (like the iconic gateways) will be added after all major planetary bodies in the Stanton system have been completed. Ultimately, unless you're visiting to mine, this location will probably fall into the "nice to visit once" category for most people. Hadanite seemed to be the most common one, though all types are present. From what I've seen, about 1/3 of all asteroids have FPS mineables attached to them. Mineable asteroids can also be found in large clusters, just like on moons. Most asteroids are P and M-type asteroids, with E-type asteroids being less frequent. Once you arrive, you'll be surrounded by thousands of kilometers of asteroids, with mineable asteroids every few thousand meters. If travelling from Hurston to ArcCorp, disengage at 9,500,000km from ArcCorp. ![]() Star Citizen®, Squadron 42®, Roberts Space Industries®, and Cloud Imperium® are. ![]() Check out the link below to view maps to the locations above. If travelling from ArcCorp to Hurston, you'll want to disengage quantum at around 13,500,000km from Hurston. Minables can be found at mines on moons or planets, though also they can be found within the asteroid belts i.e around Yela and also can be found within mining claims /asteroids fields. The easiest way to reach the asteroid belt is by plotting a course between ArcCorp and Hurston, and disengaging the jump around this point on the starmap: Though still missing its iconic gateways, this massive asteroid belt is present in a basic state and can be a great place to mine both asteroids and FPS mineables. One of the lesser known locations in the PU is the Aaron Halo asteroid belt. ![]()
